Job description

Our team will be focusing on delivering full software package for automotive OEMs. You will work on enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining our embedded Android system for products such as vehicle entertainment units which we have customized for running applications developed based on our customer requirement.

Requirements

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Java, C, C++
• Experience with Android ADT, including:
• Android build system, device driver framework, graphics and rendering framework, and networking framework.
• Android OS bring-up on a new device.
• Comfortable fixing issues around the Linux kernel and the Android OS.
• Strong knowledge in Linux kernel, device drivers, and networking is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge in OpenGL is highly desirable.
• A commitment to quality programming and best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree with an education background related to embedded software such as Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Other requirements for this role include

• Strong C/C++ development skills
• Experience developing Android media framework solutions
• Experience developing Linux-based solutions
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and automation
• Demonstrated capability to offer peer technical assessments in areas of expertise, new technologies and software designs
• Familiarity with developing, debugging, and optimizing embedded multi-threaded systems running on Intel or ARM based processors
• Previous experience developing on embedded devices
