Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Physics or equivalent.
Required skill(s): proficiency to work with CAD CAM tools is a must.
Must have keen interest in the design field.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities
Proposed presentation on design proposal; meeting with clients to establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria.
Product concepts design using CAD (computer-aided design).
Sketching initial design ideas.
Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.
Producing detailed specifications.
Problem-solving and finding solutions.
Researching materials, processes or market requirements.
Travelling to clients' production facilities and evaluating the feasibility of production as and when is necessary.
