Bachelor's degree or higher in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Experience with optical design software such as Zemax, Code V, or LightTools.
Strong understanding of optics and optical design principles.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and work independently as needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Design and optimize optical systems using Zemax software.
Conduct simulations and analysis of optical systems to evaluate performance metrics such as image quality, aberrations, and efficiency.
Select appropriate optical components for the optical system design.
Collaborate with other members of the optical design team to ensure that the optical design meets project requirements and timelines.
Create and maintain documentation related to the optical system design.
Conduct tests and validation of optical systems to ensure that they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
